VIRTUAL REALITY means existing or effect, through not in actual fact, or name, while REALITY
means the quality or state of being actually true, or that which exists in fact.
Here, Virtual World includes the Computer DataBases (CT, MRI, U/S, LS Data) Holding anatomical or
functional information. For this research the Real World is the Human subject or patient. The aims of this
project are to:- define all the possible routes of connection between Virtual and Real Worlds, to define the role
of Virtual Reality in the Medial area, to develop the algorithms to realise this connection and to investigate the
Human Interaction with an experimental system and to define the potential scope and limitations of the use of
such methods.
