Funded PhD Project
The aim of this project is to develop and explore the role of symmetry in the description, classification and quantification of shape. It is intended that this work ill give rise to generic approach to symmetry detection that can be used in the description of 3D shape and the quantification of shape change in symmetrical or near symmetrical objects.
