He is now a professor in medical imaging at the Union Hospital of Tongji Medical University, Wuhan, P.R. China, and Vice President of the Chinese Association of Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology. Some of his current research interests are 3D/4D echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and transpulmonary contrast echocardiography.
